| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Daww now that was just cute! This is something that I've really only found in shoujo, but I love how there is usually a much more realistic depiction of teenagers. I mean, these kids are in 9th grade, and they're getting drunk and lighting off fireworks. Maybe it was just because of the holiday, but still. The whole thing is treated so nonchalantly and feels completely natural. It's refreshing to see teenagers actually act like teenagers in anime/manga. I'm so sick of teenage characters with like, 6 year old mindsets and maturity levels that is so common in shounen. Shoujo does high school/slice of life right. As an aside, I really liked the character designs for this story! |
