| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This chapter really impressed me. I have gotten used to the fact that Dai Sato and Miki Kizuki have decided to not go with a conventional plot set up. The characters feel human because they are growing from ordinary events as opposed to extraordinary events most stories use. I loved how this chaptered showed that Ruri is driven by external measurements of success. Her desire to deliver pizza only existed because she learned that there was a speed record. Her desire for external recognition is the opposite of Sumner's desire for an internal fulfillment. |
