| Ahh what do I say, it was a really well done episode Felt bad for Ushio coz no mom, trash dad and also strict Sanae Love how Tomoya realises that he's worser than his father, dude finally came back to reality |

| It's almost been five years - Ushio's age - since I last watched After Story. So much of this resonated and registered in a whole new light. Before, I was mainly thinking about Tomoya's perspective and took Ushio's loneliness for granted. It's not to say I wasn't aware of how hard it was for her, but I often found myself downplaying it with things like "She's too young to understand what's going on." But I know that's not true, since I remember breaking down crying on the school playground when I was her age because my father had been stationed overseas for over a year. Thanks to another favorite anime of mine, I was able to better appreciate those moments where Ushio would stare at Tomoya intently with wonder, waiting for her father to praise or smile at her. I still stand by my thoughts from years past - among my favorite scenes in all of anime. |

| After many, many episodes where the quality varied between ok, mediocre or abyss fiction, this episode was actually phenomenal are easily my favourite episode of the series hands down. this time it didnt feel like pure melodrama for the sake of sucking out emotions like with most episodes of the show, this was actually raw and genuine and very needed development for tomoya, the highlight was the sunflower scene where ushio just cries in tomoya's arms and it did something the series didn't do for the past 17 episodes and strike me deep emotionally, to the point where i was tearing up. |

| Really touching episode… First time I got tears from Clannad. Ushio is so adorable but I also miss Nagisa. I finally understand why people say it’s so good. Also (maybe) a Spoiler for next episodes, (It’s just my assumption): |
