Along with a recap of the Aincrad and Fairy Dance arcs as noted by Kawahara in the afterwards of the 13th volume of Sword Art Online, the new footage content and visual art has also been revealed at the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival 2013” event at the Akihabara UDX & Belle Salle in Tokyo.

Story: Yui wants to see a whale with Kirito during an underwater quest in Alfeim Online. During the quest however, it is revealed Leafa cannot swim. Asuna and the other female characters decide to train Suguha in a real-world pool to help her in ALO. Meanwhile, Kirito meets a certain someone.

It will air on TOKYO MX, BS11, and niconico on December 31, 2013.

I haven't read much of the VN's but I can't help but be disappointed by this special ):
I shouldn't have been expecting something amazing from a 1 episode special but eh.
