| I've heard of it. It sounds mediocre at best, romantic comedies are not my thing. It is slice-of-life though,which is my favorite genre, so I'll probably watch it someday. |

| One of the anime series I would always think as a 'different' from the rest. It is a really captivating mixture of SoL and comedy. Highly recommended to open-minded anime viewers. |
| Indeed I have heard of it... ^ u jealous? Anyway, while Nanaka 6/17 may not be a timeless masterpiece, the crystal ball critics writing it off on account of its production year, rating, or general look are missing out on a pretty good mix of cuteness, comedy and drama. Some comedic episodes are overly cheesy, but when the drama hits, it hits hard. Plus, it's a shounen romance without much of any ecchi or overdone harem elements (just a love triangle plus a loli wannabe rival), and I don't see "early 2000s" as "always looking the worst." Yes, the transition to digipaint was clumsy at times, but if that time period were truly exceptionally bad, we'd see people in the Recs forum asking for timeframes like "until 1999 and after 2004"... which afaik has never come up. |
