| Good episode! I guess that's the last time we'll ever see those kids. Juile was so cool in this episode. Baking a cake in the middle of nowhere. It looks like Dee got jelous of Ai when they were alone. I wonder if that's the last time we'll see Dee. So Scar became human because she wanted to be the mother of Celica. That's cool. I really like the ED of this anime. |

| Was there a point to the fog, exactly? I kept thinking "Why does the place where the Gravekeepers are born have a fog that can make you relive your most cherished memory? What purpose does it have here?" Also, I do feel Scar is a poorly developed character. She really has had no backstory, and I know she's meant to be emotionless, and the whole "suddenly I want a baby" thing felt really random, so any development she got here felt muddled to me because we barely got to know her. |

| Considering how they like hammering the point home that Ai is a gravekeeper, she hasn't done anything gravekeeperish since episode 3, roughly half the show... I was hoping she'd train with Scar (yeah, remember her freaky strength and reflexes?), but it's turning into a snorefest of Ai yammering about being a mix to every person she meets. Wish we'd see her fight again, or at least be more involved. Alis is a boring character. Scar running off and being brought back should've been neat but it just...isn't. And the ghost sequence...what? Was it a test? A trap? What was the point? |

| Not entirely sure the way this episode panned out was as cohesive as it should've been. Both Scar's identity crisis and her emotional reunion felt half-baked too. The gravekeeper birthplace was, however, a welcome instance of worldbuilding. The three identical gravekeepers all casually saying "Have a nice day" in succession was funny as well, especially after their seemingly significant introduction. |
