Katanagatari - some answers for me

Hi all, I have a few questions about the series. I watched the anime only once, and not all understand - I can not understand some issues, but before question, I will say what I know.

Kiki Shikizaki (the diviner) predicted the collapse of Japan. He did not have enough strength to overthrow the shogunate and change the course of history, so he decided to create swords. He was not a blacksmith, so he created the first in 1000 (just take in practice), and then (with the help of magic, looking to the future, etc.). Finally created a top 12. He also created the 13 in the form of martial arts Kyotōryū. The entire work left to other generations, because he knew that he is lacking in this life.
It seems to me that the "Princess hitei" continued the work of its predecessor (she wanted to meet with the Shogun and kill him?)

Later, the collapse of Japan also predicted Takahito Hida. He led the rebellion and was killed for it. Togame wanted to avenge the death of his father (or take over the government in Japan, just like her father tried). For this purpose, Togame became a strategist army, but it was not enough to meet the Shogun. She decided to get 12 swords (which has not made the soldiers, ninjas, etc.) to meet the Shogun and avenge the death of his father.

Now the questions.

1 Why Hiki kill Togame? She had the same goals as Hiki. Hiki wanted to get 12 swords from Togame? to meet with the shogun? I do not understand this at all. What bothered her Togame.

2 Togame as a strategist, especially the lie that she wanted to kill Shicika? does she really love him? or just feelings were a cover for its actions? or specially lied so that he did not suffer

1. Because she was her rival in terms of family roots.. 2 rival princess with the same goal doesn't mean they'll cooperate together until the end.

2. She loves him but lied to him so he would let her go more easily and to not make him suffer.

when she learns who Togame's father is she asks Emonzaemon to go kill her.

Though this might be late

The reason I got was because Togame was too successful/smart. Her goal was revenge against the shogun but she might have intended to humiliate him somehow rather than kill. Since Togame is the intellectual type, I'm guessing that simply killing the shogun wouldn't be enough to satisfy Togame's revenge.
Hetei wanted to ensure that the current shogun's rule ended for the sake of 'history'. Hetei and Emonzaemon were concerned that if Togame didn't kill the shogun but instead manipulated him, Hetei would be unable to stop Shikizaki's plan to 'change history'. Plus, there's the concern of Shichika. With both the shogun's trust and Shichika, Togame would be unstoppable. So to be completely sure Hetei could succeed, Emonzaemon killed her.

I'm fairly sure this is correct. It is rather complex so there might be some mistakes. discussing this could be interesting
