| The comedy in this episode was quite good. I initially thought the masked man was going to be the husband of the "old lady", who did not go through with the kamikaze attack and deserted the air force. I'm not sure why the 801st Tactical Training Squadron would go to a random inn in the middle of nowhere during the winter for vacation though. |

| A cavalier attitude to sexual assault here, but that's not really anything too unusual in anime from this period when they're onsen episodes. >When the captain starts talking about an army unit from around the time of the Russo-Japanese war "oh no, I hope this story doesn't go Golden Kamuy" So I guess the captain isn't gay, so much for my gaydar Hey, an Apple Newton Now that I know from Kotobuki WWII Japan had more than one airplane, maybe it would be more likely to find an Army Hayabusa in the mountains than an Navy Zero. |
