Because the OP want the anime recs given that are similar to FMA and Scryed. Honestly, i felt that none of the anime recommended are remotely similar to both of the anime stated. Therefore, the question marks and i recommend based on the topic in question.

Guilty Crown. Althought the story isn't nearly as good as FMA.

Also try D.Grayman (for some reason, it reminds me a lot of FMA)
