Just wondering what you guys actually do, or are planning to do, to earn money.
I know there are a lot of younger people on MAL so just say what career you are working towards.

I'm aiming to become a Computer Systems Engineer, while also doing some web dev stuff on the side.

Obviously in need to go Uni for the Electrical Engineering degree but on my own I'm learning Ruby then I will move onto HTML etc, plus any other language that will benefit me in some way.

Ither teeching English az a foren langwaj or being a psychologist. Leaning more towards teaching English, because you'd need a master's degree to get anywhere as a psychologist and I'm sure I wouldn't be fooling anyone by saying that I don't mind all that time in school.

I work as a waiter now, but I really hope that I won't end up doing this job forever, since it sucks so much. But hey, it's a job and money are needed.
I'm going to study languages at university though, so I'm hoping for some decent job as an interpreter.

I sell weed.
At the moment I've got about 10 regulars, averaging 5 shots a day, that's 2 OZ's a week. I get at least £120 profit per ounce (depending on fluffiness), so that's £240 minimum every week. And I've only been doing it for a couple of months.

I'm looking to expand my business soon. Once I've got a few more customers, I'm going to get me a little drug runner to take over. Pay him in weed, maybe get him a new pair of trainers every now and then.

I'm also starting my new job in September. I'm going to be teaching P.E, so I'll need someone to look after my business during the day.

Oh yeah, and I do bank card scams so... fingers, Pies.

Any job that will allow me to travel quite frequently. Or one where I don't have to live in one place in order to do it.

That would be pretty perfect for me.

I am working at home as an interpreter/database programmer. Trust me, it's not as good as it seems. I'd rather work in the office with clearly defined working hours. I'm getting sick of being tied to my PC for an entire day, as I've got to check my accounts for new projects. Not to mention the fact that sometimes my working day starts at 8am and ends when I am finished with all the stuff I am supposed to do, which in most cases is something about 2-3 am.

Also, tomorrow I am (hopefully) getting my MA degree in American Studies, would like to stay at the university and teach others about literature or audio-visual culture of the US.

Right now, I don't really have a "proper" job. I put advertisements online for various lewd services like PC repair, labour work, gardening, etc. Considering it's mostly wealthy people who are too lazy to do shit like Gardening themselves and go online for it, I normally get around £100-200 per job (which is more than I'd be making on min-wage).

The most I had gotten was £1,000 cash-in-hand for about a weeks worth of work. This persons garden was probably 5x the size (if not bigger) of the entire square of houses which I live at, it was pretty ridiculous. You usually work more days than you don't per week, but it's still not reliable as an actual job.

I'm about as aimless as it gets, so I have no idea what I want to do. Just anything but some depressing cashier job or something.

My dream job was to become a forensic pathologist considering I have always been fascinated with the dead, diseases, and how a person died, even at a young age. I used to steal my father's medical books all the time just to marvel at and study odd diseases. The issue is that it takes 13-15 years to complete the required schooling and I just didn't have the funds or patience to go through that. Plus I didn't want to graduate when I was 30+. Not only that, but the chance for job slots to become a medical examiner is very, very small. I figured I'd just admire from afar.

So, I decided to go for my second dream job and go into Elementary Education. Kind of comedic considering the contrast in fields when you think about it.

If I fail ,then I will find a job, probably in the marketing department, and work on my next start up at the same time.

You can, just not simultaneously.

Just kidding, there's a lot of jobs out there depending on what you're into. Advertisements, graphic artist, concept artist, 3d artist, etc. Seeing that I like art and gaming, concept art was something I was really into, although I've now drifted away from that a tad. Maybe if you're really lucky, you could create some pretentious, meaningless sculptures and hit the jackpot.
