I wasn't even expecting a great ending in the final chapter, yet I am still disappointed.

Yes yes yes yes yes finally its over I love Gantz but lately it's like okay I know so and so ain't going down most likely and just I was like finish this arch dude and the last chapter looked like a wrapping up chapter anyway so its good its ending. Also anyone that watched the anime it doesn't touch the manga not even close

I can't believe it ended after 13 yrs... one of my long time fav manga that I followed... ending was ok... but overall it was a good read... still I'm a bit mad that the 2 hottest babes of Gantz died Kei and Reika.. tsk...

Last arc was a bit disappointing and the end was unsatisfying for me. A few more chapters would have been nice. However, overall still a great Manga.

Reika and Sakurai should've survived. Those two actually deserved to live and as a female gantz character, Reika actually did shit that contributed to the series

if you're worried about the happy ending, might I direct your attention to a Tae-chan that hasn't bothered to acquire even panties, much less a skirt, despite victory 3 days ago... a total lack of characters that the "Kei-chan" Kurono (Tae's version, rather than Reika's) is UNfamiliar with in the ending sequence?

...or maybe the general stylistic similarities to Gramps' loss of consciousness/death's door hallucinations?

IT'S OPEN ENDED. MANGA CLOSES WITH KURONO UNCONSCIOUS, POSSIBLY DYING (m/b dead) AND EVERY SINGLE TEAM MEMBER'S FATE UP IN THE AIR WITH A HUGE QUESTION MARK.

The manga goes much much further than the anime, and keeps throwing in more and more stuff. Some people think too much stuff.
