| Gantz series creator Hiroya Oku noted in Miracle Jump Magazine that the series would be ending soon. The 24th issue of Young Jump Magazine this year, announced that the title will be ending in two more chapters. Gantz is a hyper-violent manga that follows Kei Kurono after his death as he and others are pulled into missions by a mysterious orb. Gantz has also inspired two live-action movies and an anime series. Dark Horse publishes the manga in English. Source: ANN |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

All of us expected it to be the best arc, but it was a little too rush on certain parts and too dragged out on others. Final arc can be summarized like this: first part-excellent; second part-still great; third part- wtf. Anyways, I do not bother by it anymore. Lets enjoy the party and give Gantz a proper farewell. |

| I saw this when finishing the latest chapter today, and it wouldn't surprised me if the last chapter is a huge troll, hell the writing and art for this whole last arc has been very lazy and mediocre. Lots of plot holes will be left by the end of this series, also WTF happen to I remember when this manga was epic, good ol days, I missed them. |
