Berserk movies

Greetings!
I've just finished watching the Berserk anime. I must say, long since I've seen anything like this. Does the movies have anything to do with the main story? Got a bit disappointed at the ending in ep 25. Figured I'll read the manga aswell, but wondering if the movies is worth a watch.

Read the manga, avoid the movies. All the movies are is just the TV series with all the depth cut and with eyesore still picture animation replaced with eye sore CGI.

The movies are a remake of the seiries, and the latest one I believe is going to end where the anime did. But I have also heard that they might be continuing after that, so they might be adapting the rest of the manga.

I haven't watched them yet so I don't know about them compared to the anime or manga.
