| Chiwa's perspective is easy to understand. As a childhood friend of Eita, and one who eventually developed obvious romantic feelings for him, it must come off as inconsiderate for Eita to try to set her up with another student, like he's selling off some lucrative heirloom. Also consider Eita's sudden relationship with Masuzu, and Chiwa's lingering angst about her injury, and I'm surprised Eita didn't pick up on anything. Those flashback scenes could've been shifted into more coherently though, so as to solify that they are indeed flashbacks, and not what happened the day after Chiwa ran out of Eita's house. |
