How do people hold their manga here on the myanimelist forums?

I hold mine carefully in the middle so the pages or cover don't get bent, yet they always do somehow.....

Let me go grab one, and I'll tell you...

...Okay, here we go:

Keep in mind that the book is open in a 90 degree angle.

-Right ring finger on the spine.
-Right index and middle finger on the right side of the cover.
-Right thumb barely touching touching the bottom of the middle part the page for the sake of holding the book open.

-Tips of all four fingers on left hand on the tip of the left part of cover.
-Tip of left thumb on the tip of the mid section of the page for the sake of holding it open.

I rotate the book according to which side I'm reading. I don't wanna stretch the lacing. For the double pages, I gently open the book until I can see it clearly.
I'm also filled with pure-hearted ulterior motives.

(reading smaller manga only with left hand)

Left hand
-Thumb bottom left corner holding the page open.
-Index finger on spine of manga.
-middle finger just next to index resting on the cover page.
-ring finger inside middle of right page

As for manga with more pages pretty much the same as you.
Left hand resting on left pages
-thumb over center of page
-index and middle resting on the spine of the book

Right hand
-Thumb resting on the bottom center of right page
-Index, middle, ring finger resting on spine and bottom of the manga,

(first time I ever thought about the way I hold manga.

^what he/she said.

Or in case of physical copies, I use my two hands... no but seriously, I care about my manga and try to keep them safe.

Like a book...?
I try not to bend the spine too much. Some of my favorites are already damaged because of that.

I put both of my thumbs in the middle and read it. Sometimes i read it on my computer too, but i prefer getting the actual manga and reading it late when i'm suppose to be asleep.

I use my right thumb to divide the two pages and the left one to hold the left side of the manga, In the End in order to take care of them

Upside down - bending all the pages so they get cracked and filthy, with fingers covered in cheeto's chips greese, while watching TV, sleeping and doing a hand-stand alltogether.
Feel free to recommend me good romance (BL is fine!) or slices-of-life anime I haven't seen yet!

I sit and stare at the computer screen. And then click the page when I'm done reading it.
