| With the recent news of Naruto being uploaded to various video sites by official sources, Dattebayo has officially announced they will drop Naruto starting from that date. It doesn't seem to another one of DB's troll as there is even an article on ANN about it. |

| I believe it to be true. Now that Viz will be releasing dubs of the series same day as Japan it whole fan sub isn't needed anymore. I know the dub voice actors are horrible but if its same day as Japan that means we will be getting Naruto on Wednesday now so i think i might be able to bear the pain to my ears when Naruto speaks. |

| Regardless of Japan getting on their own subbing thing, I think DB is still going to sub Naruto. They just seem like the kind of people who won't let the man get in their way of providing people with illegal, unpaid subbing work. |

I do watch dubbed Naruto on CN from time to time, but they're so far back it's a joke. | I doubt it very much that they plan to drop it. First, DB has always been against streaming video because it degrades the quality. Second, they have never given a shit about what people think including anime company's, so I doubt they would just pack up because Viz plans to start releasing the show on Crunchfuck. Personally, I hope they release the subs on more then Crunchrole. Joost and Hulu would be the better choices since they offers up HQ video. |

| I've been paying attention to this unfolding ever since TV Tokyo annonced earlier this week that they would be doing this along with VIZ. They will also be putting the subbed episodes on Joost and Hulu after a week. They will be on Crunshyroll 4-5 hours after they air in Japan for people willing to pay, and a after a week will be free to watch. That is when the episodes will also be added to Hulu and Joost. Personally I am going to wait and see what happens once this all goes down 'cause there is still more then a month for all of this stuff to hit the fan. If everything does end up going through, then there will be someone who manages to rip the episode of of Hulu or Joost and make a torrent for it. But, hopefully, most people will just be content with watching it over the net. |

| Well it doesn't really seem like a troll with the stuff happening in the anime industry now. Viz is going to provide free streaming after a week (streamy is sucky though :/) of the series subbed and that's pretty damn good. Guess time will tell what's going to happen. |

| I'm presonally of the opinion that Dattebato is serious this time. However I'm also hoping that the quality of either the translation sucks or the video quality is horrendous so DB will pick it back up again. I've found that my own personal way of giving back to the community is to start buying more merchandise. I don't really have the money to spend on DVD's or the space to store them. but every now and then purchasing a rather spendy model or something has the same, if slightly smaller effect. |
