| I just finished my triple monitor setup. Center is an Asus 23.6" 1920x1080 monitor, with two HP 1740s 1280x1024 (rotated-1024x1280) monitors. The Asus I bought new at around $160 or $170. Both HP monitors were previously owned and cost $40 and $20. I also payed $8 for an active mini displayport to DVI adapter that is required for Eyefinity. So it's a cheap setup (price-wise), but triple-monitor setups today often have 3 widescreen monitors that are recent and of better brand. I also cannot use all three right now, since the requited adapter and DVI cable I ordered has not arrived yet. Some images below. Just recently built my first computer, if you like to know the details, feel free to PM or comment to me. I also have a 5.1 surround sound speaker set. The subwoofer can be seen in the bottom right of the top pic (it's pretty big, IMO). |

Sharing rigs, setups, and "battle stations", is a VERY NORMAL PART of any and every forum or online community in general encompassing computers and/or gaming. So, realistically, you're the one who probably doesn't belong (read as: isn't up to date on how things work on a forum) - not surprisingly. However, there should probably be a sticky or an often bumped thread specifically for posting these things. |
