| Yeah I can't see an anime ever topping Clannad for me. The emotions that come along with that show are just unbelievable. I know I have A LOT of catching up to do with anime seeing as I just got into it this year. But Clannad is really something else and has blown everything out of the water so far that I have seen (anime and non-anime shows). |

| As many others have said, Clannad (as a whole, of course) is my favorite anime of all time and I consider it to be many light years away, and above, of the rest. That doesn't mean I don't acknowledge its flaws nor the greatness in many other animes; but the array of emotions I experienced clearly place it far above anything else. |

Sometimes I even notice when I show is all around better than clannad from an all around technical standpoint. But the sheer emotion that the show brings is completely unreal and will probably permanently cement Clannad as my favorite ever. Hopefully I'm wrong and something else comes along, but I'm yet to see it. |

| Clannad = best anime to have ever made... and the first anime to have made me cry...I cried a lot on Fuko's arc.... :( and God knows how much I cried on afterstory, on the train scene where Tomoya remembers Nagisa and he just cried without knowing it..and Ushio cries too....oh man.. them feels... they're all coming back to me.. :((( |

| I'm not sure if it is number 1 or not (Cowboy Bebop is having a serious fight with it), but I think it's unlucky to ever be knocked off my top 5 even if I lived to be 100. Anyone who failed to cry at some point of the After Story is not human, in my mind. |

| Clannad had some emotional impact on me but nothing really major. But oh boy, After Story turned me into its little bitch. No form of entertainment has moved me in such a way as Clannad AS did. And since I only watched it like a week ago I am still working on regaining my old self. :) |

And since I only watched it like a week ago I am still working on regaining my old self. :) Pretty much, I mean the first season had the Kotomi route, which was my favorite one both in the anime and VN (except for Afterstory ofc), thats the only route in the first season that I felt emotional, but THEN came Afterstory, and oh boy... episodes 16-22 were pure gold, and no matter what people might say about the ending, I wouldn´t have it any other way. The main reason why it impacted us so much has to do with it being one of the few (if not the only one) to go beyond the highschool setting, to show us what adulthood is really like, and I thought it made a great job at it. The character attachment was also pretty high, probably the highest in my case, as I don´t think I cared for an anime character as much as I did for Tomoya and Nagisa, and later Ushio of course. |
