When I try searching for something, let's say "MyAnimeList", it takes a while to load and then it brings me to different sites not related to Anime. :o and igoogle gives me an error. So basically, I can't use google for searches. My other computers are fine, just my laptop isn't. Any solution?

Are you sure you don't have a virus or something redirecting your google searches? I recall having something similar once.

Might be a toolbar or something simular. Check that out.
Just incase
Download http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html and check for viruses.

All DNSchanger infected PCs will be shut down at 9th July (I mean not computers, but infected DNS) :/
That will bring problems to many users...

So was all the porn worth it?

Download AVG and malwarebits it is as close as you can get to perfect security and not a single cent wasted.

Edit:Forgot the firewall, get one too and you have the holy trinity of internet security.

Naw if your using windows just download Microsoft Security Essentials and download malwarebytes anti malware update every day, and run weekly scans and you'll have no more problems.

spyware/malware scanning can take some time, and may be non-specific

while your pc is scanning,
a simple way to see if only one browser is hijacked:
use another browser or use the browser's default clean profile if available

you may identify the problem if you know what site is taking control of you browser,
and then search for a specific fix with that site's name

You may have "SafeSearch" mode on and that on strikt. Happened to me once that I turned it on by accident and I gut really pissed till I then after almost having an outrage noticed it lol :P

EDIT: Btw, the posebilety to change this is all the the right from the google searchbar (not on google.com, but you must have searched for something)
