| I prefer to watch the anime first then i'd continue on with the manga. Though i haven't watched or read Ah! My Goddess whatsoever, it is however in my PTW list. So I don't know which format you should start with, sorry. |

| I didn't watch that series specifically but anime usually gives you a better idea of what the characters are like so when you're reading you can unconsciously imitate their voices in your head. So I'd say anime first, manga later. |

| Read the manga first, the anime kinda jumps around in the manga so its hard to figure out which chapters to read. Unless you plan to read the entire manga, then I'd start with the anime since its shorter. Oh, and watch the more recent version, its a better adaptation and has better art. |
| Not really a problem with this series. Honestly, if I hadn't watched the anime first then I would have dropped the manga within the first five chapters. The anime is significantly better, mostly because it incorporates changes in tone and style from later in the series. |
| honestly there is really not that much difference. if you actually like this story you will enjoy the manga just as much as the anime. as for the order....it may be easier to read the manga since the anime might take some effort to get. |
