| Honestly..... The stupidest reason why i refuse to watch certain anime..... -I have a thing of not watching certain popular anime. Especially those that were good enough to get to America. -I have a pet-peeve when it comes to this occurring phenomenon. When people start calling themselves anime lovers when they only watch Anime available to them in Adult-swim and other channels.... - For example "O I love Anime!." "What Anime's have you watched?" I asked "Naruto, One Piece, Death Note, Code Geass, Bleach" (You guys know what I mean........) * I know its ridiculous that I don't watch certain anime because of that. But I really don't want to be a poser anime lover because I am a genuine one. *I know its pretty mean and stupid of me and I'm sorry. I really am. Well don't stress it, I feel the same (as explained in my profile). Although Anime that has been brought over to North America or has been dubbed are pretty good, there are some really amazing Animes that most 'Anime-Watchers' (as you have described) have never heard of. |

I'm more annoyed at the people who think they're cool because they download most of the new seasons shows and therefore more "up to date" than you silly dub watchers who they claim aren't "true" fans. Then I ask them how they liked Rurouni Kenshin or GTO or LotGH. Response: "What's that?" But I suppose I'm not perfect either. Although I like trying out all genres, if a certain show becomes TOO popular or everyone in my circle of anime friends has seen it I instinctively lose interest in it. Bad habit of mine :( |

Dropped Lovely Complex because the idea of a short dude and a tall chick just wasn't appealing. Manned up and watched Brotherhood though, and never regretted it. |

| I first refused to watch One Piece because of the animation, and now few years later i'm addicted to it. Refusing to watch Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon because of boobfest. Refusing to watch White Album because i saw like 1minute couple of years back and i was bored. Didn't even try a whole ep. |

| oh well in that case just try not to think about the fanbase when you watch it many of them could be teasing you, like me plus, I've only seen the prequel film (Conquest of the Stars etc.) and one episode of the OVA series but I'd say it's worth it and fandoms are never a good reason not to watch something unless it's MLP |
