| Wow. I don't have much else to say aside from that. I don't think any other work of fiction has managed to make me feel the same way this one has, and the only reason I haven't expressed my opinion on this until now is because I feel like I'd just be repeating myself. Aside from how angsty and contrived the plot was at times, my only major complaint with this series is the art. I know it's similar to the time that it came from, but I didn't really like how the characters' bodies were drawn/shaded. It looked like the entire thing was drawn with the line tool in MS paint, though that doesn't really matter when the story is absolutely amazing. As of right now, this is my favourite manga of all time. The story in this has touched me on such a personal and resonant level, and there have been several nights where I've been kept up thinking about this manga. |
