No announcement whether it is subbed only or dubbed if people were wondering.

It's been confirmed that Blue Exorcist is sub-only. The dubbing status on Madoka is undecided however. So there is doubts.

I wasn't really interested in Blue Exorcist, but I'm interested in Madoka instead. They better dub Madoka or I'm not buying it.

Source? Or is that just a weeaboo's wishful thinking?
Considering they won't buy Madoka if it isn't translated, I don't think that's a weeaboo's wishful thinking.

Since this is Aniplex we're talking about, I'm guessing that Funimation will do a translation, which would be glorious.

i HIGHLY doubt Madoka would b dubbed because Aniplex USA owns the licensing for the Gurren Lagann movies and NEVER even bother making the English dubs (GODDAMMIT BANGZOOM! why did u let the movies get away!)

But Durarara! is dubbed...

Speaking of Durarara!, I absolutely expect Aniplex USA to pursue a TV deal for this show.

Yeah, my wording was awkward. I meant that since Durarara!! got a TV deal, I expect Aniplex to pursue the same for Madoka Magica. Sorry about the poorly worded post.

That's...very interesting. Well, I would watch it again, even if dubbed.

Hmm, now I want to know what would the rating be like. Teen? *Cough*

What? So you hate me too for being a dub fan. Well I hate you too then.

Also, Johnny Yong Bosch as Kyuubey /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\

Still want Kyuubey voiced by Kevin Spacey. Won't happen, but hey.

Heh, you know if they do do that, they should end up including the "Morning Rescue" commercials when they aired them! xD If you didn't get that reference / joke, sorry about that.

So, 300 dollars? Per usual Aniplex?

It can't be helped. Kyubey owns my soul.

I agree with what you say, Aniplex kinda goes overboard with their prices.

I'm going to cry if they charge 50 bucks for 4 episodes.
I'd rather they make one set for the whole series and call it a day.

If the charge some insane price like they did with Kara no Kyokai then Aniplex America can go screw themselves...

That was only priced so high because it was released simultaneously in Japan and the US. Obviously that's not the case with Madoka, so the price won't be that high.

I'm glad Aniplex of America is doing this series for the US release. I honestly don't mind the higher price tag if it's in the quality of the Japanese source, and if there are nice extras packaged with it unlike that "thinpack" crap. And BTW, in the case of Kara no Kyoukai, it was an exact Japanese import. Excellent collector's items; rarely/almost never the case with America produced anime (except Rightstuf/Nozomi).

Is it just me or does anyone think that they won't be nearly as popular as they are in Japan? Isn't anime looked down even more in America?

Oh dear I can't even imagine how annoying Magical Girl's voices can become..
