Apparently a lot of the people tied to this worked on the anime Canaan, where because of mandates from higher ups, they couldn't fully do the show how they envisioned it. So this series will use some of their unused ideas from that show without them having to worry about anyone telling them no.

I seriously can't remember what Canaan was about, even by reading synopses or summaries. It left a lot on the table though. Anyway, if we're talking about Canaan associates then the upcoming series could turn out to be something.

Never watched the series myself (its been sitting on my plan to watch list for sometime) but the team behind this one looks promising. Plus the character designer is the guy who did the characters from Fire Emblem Awakening, so it will atleast look really pretty

From the trailer it looks like they are really going all out on the looks and animation. From what they hinted about the story where a loved one can die from your death and it also involves the teenagers to be used as the soldiers, I feel like there is going to be a lot of depression in this show, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. They can definitely involve a lot of things that can turn the story around.

I was thinking Ao Haru Ride was seriously going to be the next big shoujo romance, but then it started tapping into the usual shoujo tendencies with the last two episodes (5 & 6). I'll be surprised if it turns out to be even average now. I had a great laugh at the latest episode though because of the insane levels of cheesiness. Makes for comedy gold to say the very least... haha

Probably will pass it up if it's becoming average. haven't watched/read a shoujo in a long time because I can't relate to melodramatic high school romances anymore.

haha just check back next month. I could be praising Ao Haru Ride for being something awesome... although that's probably not going to happen. If you wanna watch shoujo (and even shounen) romance shows get slapped in the face you could pick up Nozaki-kun from this season.

Nichijou is the best.

Watched Madoka recap movies. Why the ending always makes me cry? I have read the manga and watched the TV anime, but still just can't handle it without tears. Yhy. Tomorrow the Rebellion aka the third movie hopefully!

That kind of reaction to something seriously entices me to watch something :3
My favorite things in entertainment (ha!) media ala books, anime, games, movies, etc always made me cry or emotional.

Watched the final Madoka movie, damn the ending. You know, I wasn't really a fan of Homura, but after Rebellion I really started to like her. Also Sayaka was very sweet in Rebellion too.

Though Madoka with all her cutesy is still my favourite Mahou Shoujo :3

Finished Lucky Star a few days ago. Konata is one of my favorite anime characters now as well. Not sure what to start next, will probably give No Game No Life a shot before I start anything with a great story.

Finished watching a few shows the last week or so. Finally got to finish Maoyuu Maou Yuusha and ignoring the boobs the show is actually pretty decent going the direction similar to spice and wolf. Also got to finish all of Tamayura, this show is also pretty good staying true to the art of slice of life while adding some character development and some feels. Lastly, I am halfway through Himitsu the revelation, really good show so far and presents a lot of emotion and plays a little bit with ethics.

Yea the ending was kinda hinting for a second one but no announcements ever since. It will probably suffer the same fate as spice and wolf where the third season is nowhere to be found.

He was my uncle's roommate in college, met him a few times at some family bbq's back in the day.

He also did the voices' of Buster and Babs from Tiny Toons and Mr. Bighead from Rocko's Modern Life. Fucking love that show

That is pretty cool.

Anyways, I am in the middle of watching Kidou Senkan Nadesico and what a show this anime is. It pokes fun of a lot of the anime especially mecha and romance anime genre. It is definitely a well done parody in which the BS that is still being done on the shows today are made fun of in this anime. Man this is really great.

Kindaichi is ok it's just that all the cases take 4-5 episodes and sometimes that is just too long. The good thing about it is they give you very distinct clues which make it pretty easy to solve the problems yourself.
