So I'm going to try to watch a new movie everyday for the rest of this month, but I can't decide where to start - or what I'll be watching, for that matter - and that's precisely why I need the help of you all! Now, the main type of movie that I want to see are ones that aren't too well known; something that I may much awareness of (like Buddha Saitan), but as long as it's good, I don't mind what it is, really... it just has to have good subtitle and video quality.

P.S. I'M NOT WATCHING SUMMER WARS OR THE HARUHI MOVIE

I don't know that many movies, but I will recommend Eve no Jikan, and Sky Crawlers. Also, if you would like a short film, I also recommend Glassy Ocean.

Golgo 13: The Professional: ridiculous sex'n'violence salaryman fare, but the action scenes are good and every minute or so there's a really, really beautifully animated shot. Also has an extremely, extremely dated CG scene. (1983 CG wasn't up to much!)

The Queen Millennia Movie: wild apocalyptic stuff, with, again, some very beautifully-animated scenes.

I was going to mention the Patlabor movies myself, but they were directed by the same guy as the Ghost in the Shell movie, which I see you didn't really like.

Anyway, whatever you choose to watch, good luck with your project!

Angel's Egg
Ocean Waves
Tamala 2010: A punk Cat In Space
Tekkon Kinkreet (more well-known, but mentioning it anyway sine no one else has)

I have heard that Nitaboh is pretty good too, but I haven't gotten around to watching it. The same goes for The Wings of Honneamise.

You could also watch all the Lupin the 3rd movies, that should take you 2 years if you watch one every month.
