The Lady Cheese Shop is a temporary art installation by Miriam Simun, a graduate student at New York University who hopes to use the craft of cheese-making to raise questions about the ethics of modern biotechnologies. | I understand that babies drink milk from their mothers, but that stops when they get older and the only reason they do it is to get the nutrients they need. So I find this kinda weird and I don't think I would do it. |

| ^ This still doesn't answer the question of why you think it's weirder to drink milk from another species than your own, especially after you admitted that we no longer need any kind of milk once we're past infancy. Why are you drinking/eating products from cow milk now? If your answer is that they taste good or you want the nutrients, then wouldn't it make more sense to consume milk made by humans for baby humans than made by cows for baby cows? Would you rather suck milk from a cow's teat or from a human's? That's the logic I'm not getting. I'd take human milk over cow milk any day. No offense whatsoever intended to cows, it just makes more sense to me to drink milk naturally designed for my own species. If I am to consume milk products at all, that is. EDIT: Oh, and to the people saying "I wouldn't unless the women were hot." I bet they were hotter than a cow! Besides, if that's your mindset about consuming milk products, it borders on bestiality. |
