Mmmm yeah you can but I don't recommend that you do.
The movies are set up in a non linear order so you can technically watch this one without seeing the previous, however there are some references to the other movies and things that are built up to be better experienced when watching the fifth one so I highly recommend checking the first 4 out.
Best anime ever.

Everything. Either watch movies 1-4 before or watch none of them. I don't even understand why people would want to skip the first four movies. They are amazing, provide a great build up and establish the world and its rules the characters live in.
