| Sure we have a lot to learn, search, read and listen about prog. music. why dont we help each other in this journey. lets include rare bands and prog. albums that not many people know. i already mentioned some bands in other topics so i will not talk more about them. 1) Magna Carta; Lord Of The Ages. it not really a fully prog album but the title song is a must heard. the song is progressive folk, band is less technic than Renaissance and more like the band America. Their album cover is from Roger Dean, so the songs give surreal imagination to the listener. http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=13815 2) Island; Pictures; they are a single album group, released Pictures in 1977. They have heavy VdGG and Gentle Giant influence, and they are very technic. this makes them harder to listen and concentrate on the speed and details. still great tho. http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=638 |
