| I just noticed that in the karaoke episode Jin goes into the wrong room. In that room are 4 girls; two with light purple hair, one with short even lighter purple hair, and one standing with long blue hair. What in the world is this a reference to? You never see the faces, but I was thinking the girls from Lucky Star? Although there's no reason for the two anime to be tied together (as opposed to, say, Kanon and Air). |

| Lucky Star. Because, the director of Kannagi directed the first few episodes of Lucky Star, and he got sacked from KyoAni because he wasn't 'director material' so, you can see a lot of reference for KyoAni. (Haruhi is also referenced) You can see in the episode where Nagi became a school idol, a person is confessing that Nagi was the 'reason he became director material' or somewhere along those lines. It's actually because of that. |

| The Lucky Star reference was the best part. The cast is known for doing Karaoke in every episode so it was a cute little reference. Ah, I miss this period in anime. |
