| Difficult to fully comprehend from the messy scanlation, but decent One-Shot. 5/10. A vampire who's lost his love for humans from his family and friends either losing themselves to hunger or getting killed, a boy comes knocking, having escaped his father and is now unable to speak due to trauma of seeing his mother and sister get killed in front of him. The father tracks his son and finds the vampire Rubiel, who's blood is known to grant immortality. Weak and close to death, yet still strong, Rubiel is about to kill the boy's father but is stopped by the boy himself for a moment, getting stabbed by his father in the process and later dying. The boy's wish was for Rubiel to keep on living and continue to love humans it seems. In the end, that seems to be what Rubiel will do even though he feels conflicted of his friends and family's death over the years, now, including the boy. |
