Anyone have a Favorite Beatle? I mean I like them all but If I had to choose I would either go with John or Ringo.

Ringo, because his name is just distilled wonderfulness.

Ringo. Starr.

It's just winlicious.

I wouldn't want the name Ringo (I would have kept Richard) but Starr is fucking bad ass.

If there was an anti George vote I would have done that. So I just voted for them all.

Eh, what can I say? I'm a big psychedelic fan, and thus a sucker for the sitar.

Don't forgot that he wrote his own share of classic songs like While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes the Sun, Something (the latter two being probably my favorite Beatles songs, period)..

He also wrote Blue Jay Way which is one of my favorites. George is pretty rad.

I love them all. But if I had to choose one, it would be John Lennon. He has an imperfect rock voice, which is awesome.

I like here comes the sun. I know I'm not a big pop fan of theirs, though a couple I do like. Strawberry Fields Forever and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds are some psychadelic tracks I like though Across the Universe is too much. I guess I like some middle stuff. It's not that I dislike George overall, just I think he left something to be desired. And I like the others.

I haven't seen the movie if you're talking about Across The Universe.

You mispelt his name again. That's why. You killed Paul. Shame on you. I know you voted for Lennon. You just want him to win. You sabotaged your own poll. Very discrete. But not discrete enough. Because I know everthing about you and the way you think. You can't fool me. I have seen through your futile plans.

I'm going with Paul, an amazing bassist and the less drugged up, hippy-ish half of one of the most prolific song-writing duos of all time. Not that being drugged up and hippy-ish is bad.

John the most, always wanted to sing like him since I was a baby. But I learned all the instruments I know from copying all of them. It runs in the family.

George by far is my favorite of the bunch. He was humble, frank, and generally kind (and a bit of a curmudgeon, which is something I actually like). I wish I could word this better, but he was the most "real" of the bunch; I mean, he had this special sort of awareness that others lacked. And I know a lot of my interest for him has to do with the fact that I relate to him the best of any of the Beatles.--And, yeah, even though some of his earlier songs were a tad weak, his potential grew significantly as he aged. Even though most of his songs weren't as plush as those written John and Paul, a lot of them are really deep and meaningful. Take some time to listen to "Within You, Without You" if you don't know that I mean.

Frankly, Paul has always been my least favorite Beatle. He was a the "preppy" one of the bunch. And no offense to you folks that like his songs the most, but an awful lot of his songs are "fluff." Oh, don't get me wrong--he is a good musician--but I'm some who kind of likes stuff to be a bit deeper. I always thought that John and George were both better lyricists than Paul.

Yeah, I know what you mean. John was could be quite nasty to others, though he did seem to mellow out significantly as he got older. He was one of those people that seemed really insecure, and tried awfully hard to cover that up.

John is love John is life

By far the most creative song writer of the bunch. Nobody can mistake his iconic voice for anyone else.
