| No, those were the sexy bits. The shakespearean subtlety were more hidden in the agenda of the panda, the sibling psychology and eventual fate of mankind. There's a deeper element to many of the things that happened in The Death Panda. |

There's a deeper element to many of the things that happened in The Death Panda. I see what you mean, but it's not even close to Shakespeare and not that deep. It's a good manga, don;t get me wrong I laughed a lot and was quite shocked in parts and the end was well done not giving any spoilers away. But I've seen stuff like this a lot, it's not really that original even the idea of the panda has been done before. I think this is just a case of you loving it so much because it spoke to you, and that great, but it wasn't a life changing or thought provoking manga for me that made me sit up. Maybe you should write to the author and tell him how much you loved it, I bet he would love that. You might even make a new friend in him. |
