aw man i really love their friendship. even though the manga for a while kind of treated him as a side character and didn't develop him much, i enjoy seeing how he has grown with his relationship with ayame and taiki.

does taiki want to go pro ?

Yeah it is but the author did say the series is wrapping up sooner then later so could just mean we are close to the end so he wants to spread it out

with how lame the drama has recently been, i'm actually glad this match is not quickly over. what makes it better is that his opponent is kyo in this.
