Festival date again after a year. Kaoruko looks cute in yukata. She's so pumped up. They can celebrate his job together. Btw Kaoruko design kind of looked off this chapter to me. Was author rushing it, hope they take break if needed.

I noticed that too. the backgrounds looked a bit more simple than usual. other than the crowd shots. I hope theyre not overworking themselves

they finally had time to take a break from life, enjoying each others company. this new chapter still gives the same warmth and comfort feeling as the previous summer festival they attended, but instead with deeper connection, though I have a bad feeling about what will happen in the next chapter, connected to this chapter.

Overall, this chapter is as normal as every chapter the series has given, not too much, but not less as well. Maybe the apologizing need to be toned down a bit? Rintaro's character development is very noticeable and yet he's still polite to a degree of apologizing for just a simple "I wanted to tell you this, but I want to tell you in the right time". It doesn't really matters if he would do something impulsively or not, neither of it is something to be blamed or feel ashamed of.

Regardless, I respect him in any way, he's too respectful to that degree, which is annoyingly cool. I wouldn't be as apologetic as he could.
