| A new season of Netflix's original anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has been officially announced! Titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners II, the sequel will once again be produced by Studio TRIGGER, with the new poster and logo now revealed. Edgerunners II will feature a brand-new 10-episode story set in the same universe. The sequel will be directed by Umi Igarashi, with Kazuki Sugano as lead character designer, and a screenplay co-written by Masahiko Otsuka and Bartosz Sztybor, one of the original storywriters and producers of the first season. The announcement was made during the Anime Expo 2025 panel in Los Angeles, where Sztybor appeared alongside English voice cast members and surprise guest Imaishi. Sztybor stated: "David's story may have come to an end, but Night City is still full of untold stories. Together with TRIGGER, we’re bringing a new tale of vengeance and redemption that’s grittier than ever." |

| @nirererin Sounds very promising. It looks like there is a high chance of Edgerunners II to have similar production quality to Edgerunners I (although yeah, I know it's still too early to say anything about it). These posters look awesome. |
