It seems there are in France.
That picture come from Ep 9, 10 or 11 and there is another one in Ep 2 if I am not wrong.

Most fantasy anime settings are based off medieval Europe anyway so it doesn't really mean much if there are similarities with the real world.

hey its a good theory, but i think its just a map reference based on real world, i think?

well i just watch the anime but if we look at the creature such as goblin and fairy, its hard to tell if it past real world

Yup that kinda debunks this theory maybe some paralel universe that has the same time stream and events but with fantasy elements
