And congrats at Op for completely missing the show's point, which was basically spoon-fed to the viewer. I can't even imagine you watching Lain and trying to understand it. |

He's a textbook psychopath. |

Well, the double L came from the version I watched, which was probably fansubbed. And yes, he did get his "hands dirty" a couple of times, but the key point is him being a psychopath; the fact that he believes he's doing nothing wrong, as I said later. And psychopaths can't be detected by dominators. |
