new op is not bad, it's just too quiet compared to the prior ones. great visuals, 8/10
I like the retro feel in Ed with the visuals and the music is good
also solid 7/10

Visuals top notch. Music isn't my style. I really hoped FZMZ came back. Even Reona or Aimer would have been a good choice but they had to bring the Japanese popular Female Rapper Awich. She sounds like a washed up version of Queen Bee. Weakest opening of SLF so far.

I started watching with Queen in my head and got surprised by a new OP. I like it, both music and visuals. The ending is also good in both aspects.

I absolutely agree with you

its a shame cause the intro of the song with the choir vocals had potential to go hard af after that but they just fumbled it and didnt go anywhere with it, its just very anticlimatic

OP is too dramatically cinematic with no payoff. It's not a bad song by any means, just strange cut for the opening.

ED is fire. Fantastic Electro Bit Pop-Glitch Pop production. Anamanaguchi/Porter Robinson vibes. Like a bonus track from "SMILE! :D"

Don't care for the OP too much. It's nice and I like rap. It's a decently thing on its own. But the last 3 openings were so strong, and the last 2 were almost immediately iconic for me. Easily stand-outs among their seasons. But I think I'll grow to appreciate it more after listening to it over the next few weeks.

Really like the ED though. Probably my favorite of the show's endings. I already listened to it a few times already

Not a fan of the new OP T_T
I respect them for trying something different, but after 38 prior episodes of SLF, there’s a specific hype and aesthetic that the IP has built for itself…and it seems to have gotten lost for S2 cour 2 :c
Visually, it was great though

I thought the same about the ED! I was wondering if we were about to see a Porter production credit or something on the track…since it would explain the lack of budget for the OP (kidding)

Also sounds a lot like the early stuff from Bilmuri, even the style of the song’s title

Pixel art visuals for the ED are amazing and give me old-school RPG vibes. I really enjoyed the visuals though not so much the song itself. While I do like the New OP it's not as good as season 1 OPs but better than the first season 2 OP. Visuals for the new OP are legit and have me hyped for what is to come this cour.

Fantastic ED! It's got the vibes right and the visuals are great! I love it.

OP - not too bad. I think the animation could match the beat a little better and the scenes could be a little more abstract. Nothing wrong with showing your animation chops in the OP, but that choice of song requires a bit more focused approach. I'd forego the real-time action scenes entirely and focused on showcasing the badassery of the new characters and included more slo-mo shots, more close-ups, dolly effects, 180 turntable, what have you. That moment when the camera starts zooming out during chorus and we see different action dioramas in slo-mo was my favourite, and I wish they stuck to this artistic vibe more. The choice of song is interesting, but not in a bad way. I f*ck with it. I just think they should have owned it a bit more, be a bit more out there in terms of animation direction instead of including conventional shots in the mix.

I gotta disagree with a lot of the people here, while queen is a good song and unique for lisa standards. Frontiers is a perfect song for the visuals on this one.
How it captures so much of the coming arcs in the op in unique was is also appreciated.
Honestly an easy 9/10 and the best opening for SLF hands down
