I already told you I don't review light novels since I don't take notes when reading.

All I can say is that I enjoyed all chapters but maybe a bit less chapter 7 as it was random gags with the classmates, disciplinary comitee and (what follows is a spoiler for that chapter)

Finally got the time to read this volume. Anyway:

The more Masha-Masachika flirting scenes occur, and heck they are way too extreme such as the Masha being drunk on the previous volume, the more I am finding it ridiculous because of how conveniently no one (accidentally) catches them in the act.



And after that 2nd face-off between Masachika and Gensei, particularly about Masachika must not announce publicly about taking the Suou heir, I feel sad for Alya as she made a big mistake of sharing Masachika's secret to Nonoa. Pretty sure this might become a huge event/scandal at some point and Masachika and Alya's relationship will be challenged.

Pretty sure next volume Alya will confess to Yuki that she loves Masachika but Masachika falling in love is still far from away.

@Tennouji I wonder if im the only one who is not looking forward to this whole "nonoa sociopathic experiment" thing brewing in the background. I was glad it kind of went away in vol 8, but now seems like its coming back its kind of annoying.

I understand that the author needs to keep some conflicts going so its not just happy rainbows all the time, but I feel like there were alot of other things that could be addressed besides this in the meantime we have: Masha vs Alya and who he will choose, the issue with the heir of the family, Yuki & Masachikas relationship strains, the election, and Masachika's interpersonal relationships in general.
I just don't think were at the point in the story where we need to be stirring up BS drama for the sake of it, especially from a character whos pretty much a side character the rest of the story.

I'm not going as far as to say its 'ruining' the story or anything, but I can just tell its gonna be used to drag on Masachikas brewing romantic progress with Alya. Hopefully the author proves me wrong though.

I don't know whether it's too late to tell you but since I'm here because volume 10 next week imma just say Urabanashi is lot of fanservice (in both meaning) but doesn't actually contribute to the story.
