Multiple leaks have shown a large part of the blame lies with Mappa for fighting against the creator's vision, even though that was what made season 1 so successful. | Studio Grizzly can undertake the production and get the rights if they could and are interested, it's Mappa making things impossible, truly sad to see good shows getting cancelled especially when so many people are emotionally attached for YEARS |
| I have signed an online petition about re-animating it, but it never came to fruition, so I think it would be difficult to animate it just by gathering signatures. If anything, I think crowdfunding like "Mononoke" would be more likely to lead to the production of a sequel. |
