Which route was better, Stay Night or Unlimited Blade Works?

For those who don’t know, Stay Night is the route where Saber is Shiro’s love interest, while Unlimited Blade Works is where the love interest is Rin.

I still have yet to finish Stay Night but so far, I’m iffy. UBW’s openings are better, while Stay Night’s art style looks better in my opinion. I’ll see once I finish.

If I had to choose between One Piece and a girlfriend...I think I'll go with One Piece

you should definitely watch ubw instead of stay night but if you want to enjoy ubw to its fullest then you should definitely watch stay night first. you would notice that ubw is better than stay night in every aspect and thus it would make you fall in love with ubw.

watch both for the different routes they go, one is older but still decent. the other one is good anyway, you'll see your favorite one after but most prefer ubw because it was adapted better and animation is improved a lot.

UBW is better imo, both in the VN and anime. The anime adaptation of the first route has some advantages in my opinion (better music and character designs) but those are subjective and most people seem to disagree with me on these.

Fate Stay Night 2006 isn't bad, but Unlimited Blade Works is just simply better in terms of everything whether its visual or storytelling.

One has no reason to watch FSN 2006 anymore unless you are Fate fanboy/fangirl/completionist

I’ve seen UBW and I thought it was pretty good.

if you really really need to finish The main story of fate universe then yes, watch FSN. But if not then watch Zero>UBW. The three Movies for peak animation and "Clapping". But Still think It was a Huge waste to squeeze over 120+ hrs of vn into mere three movies.

Watch Zero and UBW. They're the best way to enjoy the show. You can watch the movie trilogy and 2006 later on.
