Not maybe some yokai, the protagonist of this series is straight up a nekomata.
And believe it or not, this series is even more gentle and laid back than Natsume Yuujinchou.

Hmm kinda looks like it ofcourse. But in terms of that feeling.I don't know yet.

And I only watched s1 of it. So I can't tell clearly.
