I checked.. the 2nd season of magi was 10 years ago
So should I wait or just get on with the manga??

If manga which chapter should I read from??

Manga 100% better. It has the best arcs in the whole story. You should deffo read it.

there been rumors of the show coming back but until the studio says something on Twitter it just not true but I'm hoping it does come back

The manga is absolutely worth reading. The arcs that follow are really good, there are a lot of great fights and great character development. Also the artstyle makes it very enjoyable to read.

but story got interesting in season 2 so I ll just continue with manga

To add onto what everyone else said, you should also read adventures of sinbad as well. Great prequel series that adds a lot of context and world building to Magi.

I liked Sinbad no bouken series a little too much 😂 I will read that also

Magi was animated by studio A1-Pictures, and the animes "Black butler" &"blue Exorcist " are too produced by that studio and both are coming back in 2024 after 7 years of their last appearance, so there's a small possibility of Magi anime comeback.
maybe give it some months wait if they're really gonna do s3, or read the manga if you can't wait.

Just read the manga but honestly its story is so good it’s truly a shame cus there is MORE then enough content for them to do another season shit really they could do two it baffles me how they even animated sinbads spin off but no Season 3 🥲

Manga because a continuation (and a great one at that) is extremely unlikely. Hopefully, I’m proven wrong on both accounts.
