Part 2 will be released on the 19th of April, 2024

Ontan Nakagawa is going to be voiced by Ano!
Koyama Kadode is going to be voiced by Ikuta Lilas(From Yoasobi)!

Unfortunately no particular info about that right now, it says it will release "nationwide", which probably means that it will be primarily a Japan theater release.
But, considering how the rollout from the previous anime by this studio went, it might be released on Netflix too.

Damn, I’ll have to keep my eyes out for any updates. Praying international audiences won’t have to wait forever for the ability to watch. 2 movies for the whole thing has had me kinda worried, but I am hoping they can do it justice.

The person in charge of the script also did a silent voice, and violet evergarden(the movie and anime), so it definitely has potential to be great

Ok maybe there is some hope with him being able to condense the story down, if a silent voice can cover 62 chapters in a film, then this can as well with 2 films.

Ano is promising musicians, a breath of fresh air in the (rather stale) j-pop scene.

But seeing 2 rising stars breaking into different industries and getting casted as the MC for their first/second role is wild, I may even say that it is unsettling...

I'm not excited about the idea that it's going to be two movies, since this format takes much longer to reach this side of the world compared to a conventional anime series. Additionally, the fact that there are only two installments, which will at best last 2 hours each, is somewhat alarming. It's very little time for everything it has to cover; a better option would have been to go for a trilogy.
