 An anime project for Tanba's Saikyou Degarashi Ouji no Anyaku Teii Arasoi: Munou wo Enjiru SS Rank Ouji wa Koui Keishousen wo Kage kara Shihai suru (The Insipid Prince's Furtive Grab for the Throne) light novel was announced at the Sneaker Bunko 35th Anniversary Festa! event on Sunday.Tanba began penning the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2019. Kadokawa began printing the series through its Sneaker Bunko label with illustrations by Yuunagi in September that year. The 11th volume went on sale on March 1, with the 12th volume scheduled for a Friday release. The light novel has a cumulative 1 million copies of its volumes in print. Yukino Amagai began serializing a manga adaptation on the Young Ace UP digital magazine in December 2019. Kadokawa released the sixth volume on July 10. Kadokawa simulpublishes both the light novel and manga in English on the Book☆Walker Global platform. Synopsis The secret battle fantasy of the strongest prince who hides his claws! Arnold is a lethargic prince who is ridiculed by the entire empire as an "insipid" runner. But in fact, he is the most powerful prince with a secret identity as Silver, an SS-grade adventurer who manipulates forbidden ancient magic!
