Fun movie!
I don't know a ton about City Hunter, so there were obviously some things I missed, but this one delivered much like the previous movie, Shinjuku Private Eyes. The first half of the movie was a little confusing and the amount of perverse jokes started getting a little stale, but the final act was incredible, from the stunning action to the suspense. The ending also hinted toward a confirmed (?) final chapter to the trilogy which I'm sure will answer overarching questions that were left open ended in the movie.

There were a lot of cameos from other sunrise properties, such as Unicorn Gundam making an appearance, along with the Lupin crew and the Cat's Eyes girls, but the music was what excited me the most, where they brought back and revamped some of the old songs from the 80's City Hunter series.

Overall very solid experience!

I'm a bit sad this film isn't getting enough attention. Hopefully things will pick up in the next few weeks.

I loved it.
The modern setting suits them very well and I love how the story is adapted to new times.
The cameos were amazing, the music was absolutely perfect and the animation was pretty good in the second half of the movie. I love they didn't change Saeba's or Kaori's behavior at all and I hope to see finally an animated ending for this series. So hyped for a third movie! 10/10
