| Sure you can! Zero introduces to the Fate universe and the mechanics, but I would recommend Fate unlimited blade works by ufotable as well! It’s just two seasons and then you can watch whispers of dawn. You can also watch whispers of dawn without watching UBW, but I honestly recommend watching UBW before. Also, you DONT have to watch Heavens feel trilogy to watch whispers of dawn (assuming you have watched UBW), you can directly watch whispers after UBW and not watching Heavens feel trilogy will not affect your experience. |

| The core things you need is Fate/Zero, Fate/Stay Night and Lord El-Melloi's Case Files. This is one of those series in which your enjoyment is improved the more you know (even including stuff like Tsukihime), but it's hardly necessary beyond those core things. |

| There is no need to watch El Melloi spin-off whatsoever, specially bc it's so awful(mentally ill Kirito is back to annoy people here though), would be good to watch Stay Night or UBW though, but not it's not a must, you know more than enough from Zero, to understand what's going on here. PS: Professor El Melloi II is Weaver from Zero. |
