Kinda fell short and had its own story rather than focussing on manga, but it I feel like it was still well done in animations and writing.

Asta up against the leader of the fallen former Wizard Kings. Yuno went up against another fallen former Wizard King. This should be interesting to see whether Asta or Yuno will get to be the Wizard King.

Noele proves her mettle in this movie. So does the rest of the Black Bull Magic Squad. Hope there is another season to this.

Not only was this a battle of monstrous proportions from multiple perspectives, but we got to see a battle of ideals between Asta, someone who aspires to be the Wizard King and Conrad, someone who has sat in the throne and seen the atrocities of the Clover Kingdom.

Conrad’s Key Magic abilities are extremely powerful, and apparently he could have taken Asta’s Anti Magic if he wanted to which is crazy in it of itself. Had he done that, he would have likely won.

Speaking of Asta, his speech to the Magic Knights was inspiring! I didn’t know he was capable of doing so much with his words just like he can do with his actions as well. This resulted in the various battles happening while Asta was focused on the main enemy. After Asta took the magic away from the Imperial Sword, everyone was able to pull together and show Conrad exactly what the magic knights are about, and the previous Wizard Kings can rest together in peace, awaiting the day when Asta becomes the Wizard King and changes the Clover Kingdom for the better.

Just amazing stuff!
