| Seeing "final chapter" was a shock for me since I didn't know chapter 53 was the penultimate chapter. These characters feel like real people with real struggles especially for those with introverted tendencies. I didn't want to say goodbye just yet. But it's better than dragging it on and running the wheels off the thing. It was wonderful to see Makio and Asa's relationship grow and change over the course of 54 chapters. Makio found she was capable of loving Asa (though she'd be hard pressed to admit it haha) and Asa was able to move forward, singing and writing. Now neither of them are lonely. Huge thanks to Hi Wa Mata Noboru for picking up this series and scanlating it to the end! |
