When I watched the first episode, I thought this show would just focus on humor, but the episodes actually tackled some topics that have a layer of depth into it, and it didn't brush away the seriousness of it all with some joke or character gag.

I know some people say dont pay attention to tags that much but this show is labeled as Drama and Seinen. Going in I knew it would have more of a mature feel to it.

I hope it remains undiscovered by unnecessary people, it is a hidden gem and we need some more animes like this which actually give us more description about the daily lives and the actual mature development of people around us

A SoL + Seinen is one of a kind where you can actually compare it with the real world ethics

I really enjoy this show and the characters, they have written each episode well
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Yeah I watched the anime because the artstyle seems very comfy. Didn't expect this to be the anime I relate the most with my life. Instantly become my favorite too

I’m glad it is, it sets it apart. This show really never lets you live in idealism for too long, and instead of being outright about bullying like Kimi ni Todoke or shows like that, it’s much more subtle and feels much more based in reality. No dirt on Kimi ni Todoke though, I love that anime.

The girl that sits behind the Mitsumi through the first few episodes was very passively making fun of her and putting her down, though Shima kinda put her in her place. Like I said, it was more subtle and realistic than outright name calling or things like that.
